On October 17th, 2011, the opening ceremony of the training course called  "Fostering leadership skills was held in Hanoi. This is a course offered to the Directors and Deputy Directors of the VNPT members under the BCC program in 2011 between the Vietnam Post and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) with and Orange France Telecoms.

On behalf of the VNPT, Mr. Phan Hoang Duc, Standing Deputy General Director, has attended and made a speech to open the learning class.

Learners attending the training course including  25 Directors, Deputy Directors of the memberss of the Group, who have just been appointed and have not experienced the training courses on leadership skills  for three recent years. The course is designed in order to update the latest  knowledge on trends and prospects of the industry and the leadership role of  the leaders of the telecommunications businesses in the condition of integration and changing business environment The course also helps learners obtain knowledge, have awareness and  new vision of governance and leadership; research, refer to the model of enterprise in a more developing country in the region in order to learn and prepare for the transition process, and enhance the status and position of integration  of VNPT with the world.

With the training methods combined theory and practical experience, the learners can codify the essential knowledge and skills relating to management, leadership and running task at the units. In particular, the learners will be offered  opportunity to learn, share experiences in business administration for the telecommunications services from domestic and overseas leaders, experts and the leading operators of the region and the world as Singtel and Orange France Telecoms.

The training course, which is designed and conducted  by the Center for Posts and Telecommunications Training No 1, will take place within 16 days divided into two phases:

Phase I: 10 - day study at training establishment of the Center for Posts and Telecommunications Training from 17/10/2011 - 28/10/2011

Phase II: 6 - day study in Singapore from 30/10/2011 - 11/04/2011

With the thickness of research, survey and development of the training program and the careful preparation of the Center for Posts and Telecommunications Training No 1, of the lecturers and learners, the course will definitely take place successfully and  bring in positive results for  Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT).
