As a leading unit in integrating Research – Training – Manufacturing - Trading in the field of Information Technology and Communications, Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology has following missions in the period of 2008- 2015:
- Integrating scientific research activities in education and training to quickly meet practical demands of manufacturing and trading operations.
- Playing an important role in hastening the schedule to achieve strategic objectives of the Sector by promptly meeting demands on technology, science and overall and skilled human resources for the Sector.
- Creating a new model to deploy training and scientific research reasonably and effectively following up Sector’s development strategy.
- Creating a new model in mobilizing resources (including economy and practical environment, etc) from healthy state-owned enterprises for scientific research, education and training to meet practical demand of enterprises and society while the State budget for scientific research, education and training as well as the ability to apply research and education results of Research and State training units into reality have been limited.
